Dance because EVERYONE is watching

Dance because EVERYONE is watching, I’m sorry but it’s true, unless they’re at the bar and missed the announcement.

Either way, don’t be a cringefest, you don’t want your guests to remember your dance for the wrong reasons.

Let’s set the scene;

You were a guest at a wedding last year and you watched them shuffle awkwardly across the dance floor, for what felt like a lifetime, but was actually only a minute and a half.

You know it was only a minute and a half because songs are usually three minutes. That couple felt so uncomfortable with everyone watching, they needed to do something to stop you. So you were waved on to the dance floor to join them for the remainder of the song!

 A quick TIP – If you want your guests to join in your first dance, you MUST prep them. Tell a bridesmaid or groomsman to sweep onto the dance floor and start dancing.

However, I DON’T want that couple to be YOU!

YOUR GUESTS want to be smiling, goose bumping and feeling warm and fuzzy inside. They want to whoop and cheer you along whilst you hold each other and sway confidently, gazing into eachothers eyes.

  • Make those whole THREE minutes count,
  • Make it memorable for EVERYONE, especially yourselves,
  • There’s no such thing as four left feet
  • Prep your guests beforehand

Make your guests remember your first dance, for the right reasons!
