Frequently asked questions

  1. Do I need first dance lessons? If you want to feel confident YES. Even just 1 hour of the basics will help.
  2. Will I have enough space? More often than not, yes, especially for the first lesson. When we meet for the first time, we go through the basics of dancing together, so we can decide then if you need to hire a bigger venue. But shifting the coffee table and rolling back the rug is usually enough.
  3. Do we need experience? NO, we can start with the basics.
  4. Can we book 1 lesson to start with? YES, not every couple is sure how many sessions are needed. As long as there are enough weeks ahead of your wedding we can book as we go. Although this is not recommended and could cost more.
  5. What if we have 2 left feet? Well that’s my favourite kind and you’ve come to the right place. Obviously there’s no such thing and each dance is bespoke to every couple, so we will be working on a dance that is designed specifically for you.
  6. Are you OK with pets and children? YES I am flexible, so can work around your family and animals
  7. Can we book evenings and weekends? YES, they are the most popular times.
  8. Can we have more song? YES and I can help you with the editing too.
  9. Do we need to know our song? It is ideal, so I can plan your choreography, but not essential as we can work through your ideas, as we go.
  10. What shall we wear? Anything that’s comfortable to begin with. No slippers or back less shoes. We can find similar shoes or clothes to match your wedding day to rehearse in.
