Why you should learn to dance for your wedding day!
Everyone dances at a wedding right?
Right!
Even if you don’t normally dance I bet you will get down and boogie at some point during the day. Whether you are the happy couple, the bridal party, or a guest; there will definitely be some shape throwing going on.
A wedding dance can be anything from a basic display of holds, spins and twirls, to a show-stopping, crowd whooping, multi-song mashup. Either way, it will be magical!
A low key wedding doesn’t mean you can’t learn to dance for your big day. It doesn’t mean you have to look cringe either. Your guests will be cheering you on and it will be one of the most memorable parts of the day; for everyone.
Dancing is a great way to gain body confidence, learn something new and bring out your personality before everyone else hits the dance floor. However, if dancing really isn’t for you, your partner could dance down the aisle; dirty dancing style. Or, your bridal party could perform a group dance, pre-rehearsed of course. Or perhaps a display of affection could be portrayed with a family member like a father-daughter dance.
I offer private classes in the comfort of your own home or at venue of your choice, if you need more space.
Each routine is choreographed and tailored for every couple or wedding party. It can be as simple or complex as desired but I know one thing for sure, it will not be boring!
These lesson are perfect for beginners; from a slow tear-jerking ballroom Waltz or cheeky Salsa, to an energetic jive or a more advanced routine, the possibilities are endless. Just remember to warn your photographer!
